Summary

A homeowner contacted us after noticing a gas smell near their deck. Safety was a concern, so we were called in to locate and resolve the leak quickly.

The Work

Traced the gas line to find a pinhole leak above the front door supplying the grill on the second-floor deck
Removed the damaged section and restored the gas service
Checked for leaks after the repair and tested static pressure at the gas meter
Reinstalled vinyl siding once the job was complete

The Outcome

Gas service was returned to normal and the leak was eliminated. Static pressure tested within safe limits. The homeowner could use their grill again with peace of mind.
